Platform scope: KeynoVet is a platform operated by Keynoverse FZC (KeynoTech). These policies apply to keynovet.com, services.keynovet.com, and the related product experiences made available through the KeynoVet platform.
Acceptable Use Policy
Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy describes the standards that apply when using the KeynoVet platform, including web applications, mobile applications, APIs, clinic tools, owner experiences, and the services marketplace.
The goal of this policy is to protect the security, reliability, lawful operation, and fair use of a shared multi-tenant platform.
Lawful and Authorized Use
Users may access and use KeynoVet only for legitimate, lawful, and authorized purposes related to veterinary operations, pet care, service delivery, marketplace participation, or permitted business activities.
Users must not use the platform to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, or contractual obligation
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or publicity rights
- impersonate another person or organization
- misrepresent qualifications, services, products, business identity, or account ownership
Security and Platform Integrity
Users must not attempt to compromise the platform or its infrastructure. Prohibited conduct includes:
- attempting unauthorized access to systems, accounts, data, APIs, or admin tools
- probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities without authorization
- introducing malware, ransomware, malicious scripts, or harmful automation
- interfering with security controls, logs, monitoring, or fraud prevention systems
- performing actions that degrade platform performance, availability, or reliability
Misuse of Data
Users must handle platform information responsibly. Prohibited conduct includes:
- scraping, harvesting, or extracting data without authorization
- using personal, clinical, transaction, or provider data for unapproved purposes
- reselling, redisclosing, or exploiting data in a way not permitted by platform terms
- bypassing access controls or role-based permissions
Payments and Commercial Abuse
Users must not use KeynoVet payment flows, subscriptions, or marketplace features for abusive or deceptive commercial conduct. Prohibited conduct includes:
- using stolen payment methods or unauthorized accounts
- attempting fraudulent refunds or unjustified chargebacks
- manipulating prices, listings, bookings, or service fulfillment records
- creating duplicate or misleading accounts to evade billing or enforcement controls
Content and Communications
Users must not publish, upload, transmit, or distribute content through the platform that is:
- unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or deceptive
- harassing, threatening, hateful, or abusive
- obscene, harmful, or exploitative
- misleading in relation to services, qualifications, treatments, products, or pricing
Enforcement
KeynoVet may investigate suspected violations of this policy and may take actions including:
- removing content or limiting specific functionality
- placing accounts under review
- suspending or terminating access
- blocking transactions or marketplace participation
- preserving records and cooperating with payment providers, regulators, or authorities where required
Reporting Concerns
Users who identify abuse, fraud, security issues, or prohibited conduct should report it promptly through platform support channels.
Policy Updates
KeynoVet may update this Acceptable Use Policy to reflect operational, legal, security, or product changes. Updated versions become effective when published unless otherwise stated.
