Platform scope: KeynoVet is a platform operated by Keynoverse FZC (KeynoTech). These policies apply to keynovet.com, services.keynovet.com, and the related product experiences made available through the KeynoVet platform.
Terms of Service
Overview
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the KeynoVet platform, including the main website, owner portal, clinic workspace, mobile applications, APIs, and the services marketplace made available through the platform.
By creating an account, accessing the platform, purchasing a subscription, or completing a transaction through KeynoVet, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any related platform policies referenced on the website.
Platform Scope
KeynoVet is a multi-tenant SaaS and marketplace platform that may be used by:
- veterinary clinics and related staff
- pet owners and household members
- service providers, merchants, and marketplace operators
- authorized contractors and business representatives
Different areas of the platform may be subject to role-specific features, billing rules, and operational controls.
Account Eligibility and Authority
Users must be legally capable of entering into binding agreements in their jurisdiction. If an account is created on behalf of a clinic, company, or other organization, the person creating or operating the account confirms that they have authority to act for that entity.
Account Registration and Security
Users are responsible for:
- providing accurate and current registration information
- maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials
- restricting unauthorized access to their devices and accounts
- promptly notifying KeynoVet of suspected unauthorized access or security incidents
KeynoVet may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if account activity appears fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, or inconsistent with these Terms.
Subscriptions, Fees, and Billing
Certain parts of the platform are provided on a paid subscription, transaction-based, or custom-contract basis.
By purchasing a paid service, the customer agrees that:
- prices, billing frequency, and plan terms will be disclosed before purchase
- recurring subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with the applicable billing terms
- transaction fees, service fees, taxes, or payment gateway costs may apply where disclosed
- failure to pay may result in service limitation, account suspension, or cancellation
Marketplace and Third-Party Services
The KeynoVet platform may allow pet owners to purchase services or products from third-party providers. KeynoVet facilitates listings, workflows, checkout, and payment-related experiences, but the underlying service or product may be delivered by an independent provider.
Provider-specific terms, availability, and fulfillment obligations may also apply.
Permitted Use
Users may access the platform only for lawful business, clinical, consumer, or pet-care purposes consistent with the platform’s intended use.
Users may not:
- use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive conduct
- interfere with the platform’s security, availability, or integrity
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or infrastructure
- upload malicious code or exploit vulnerabilities
- misuse clinical, customer, payment, or platform data
Intellectual Property
The KeynoVet platform, including software, content, branding, interface elements, workflows, and related materials, is protected by intellectual property laws.
Except where expressly permitted, users may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or exploit platform materials beyond the rights granted for normal authorized use of the service.
Service Availability and Changes
KeynoVet may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, or parts of the platform from time to time for operational, legal, security, or product reasons.
While commercially reasonable efforts are made to maintain platform availability, uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.
Compliance and Data Handling
Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform complies with applicable laws, regulations, and professional obligations, including privacy, payment, veterinary, marketing, and consumer protection requirements where relevant.
KeynoVet handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and related security controls.
Suspension and Termination
KeynoVet may suspend, limit, or terminate access where necessary to:
- protect customers, animals, providers, or the platform
- investigate fraud, chargebacks, abuse, or suspicious activity
- comply with legal, regulatory, payment-provider, or security obligations
- enforce these Terms or related policies
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. KeynoVet does not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every specific use case.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, but otherwise liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and relevant service agreements.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are subject to the governing law and jurisdiction framework disclosed in the platform’s Age Restrictions and Jurisdiction Policy and any applicable service agreement.
Policy Updates
KeynoVet may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated versions become effective when published on the platform unless otherwise stated.
